Paper is becoming an increasingly popular material for bag structures.
However, on its own, it does not possess the technical functionalities essential for being selected as a packaging solution for most applications.

CLASSPACK™ offers an effective solution by laminating PLA film with KRAFT paper, providing the paper with the key missing features: sealability, resistance to tearing and punctures, and an effective barrier against water and mineral oils.

Additionally, CLASSPACK™'s Paper/Film lamination creates a bag structure made entirely from renewable resources, offering two possible end-of-life options: recyclability through the paper waste stream (depending on the cellulose content and specific national regulations) and/or industrial compostability when compostable paper is selected.
