The CLASSPACK™ preformed bag features transparent PLA film gussets, available in 20 and 40 micron thicknesses.
It is offered in two formats:

• Boxes containing individually cut and bottom-sealed bags, or

• Continuous rolls, ranging from 500 to 1,000 meters, depending on the thickness of the film and paper.

For products with high respiration rates, the paper bands can be microperforated to optimize gas exchange.

MAP packaging (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) is a dynamic process in which the closed bag and the packaged product interact, allowing the internal gaseous atmosphere to reach an optimal balance. This balance helps to reduce the respiration rate, ethylene accumulation, moisture loss, and the development of microorganisms.

In the case of vegetables, the objective of MAP is to establish a dynamic equilibrium between the product's metabolism and the permeability of the film used, thereby preserving freshness and extending shelf life.
